On March 18, 2025, compliance officer Sultangozhin Sh.K. held an explanatory conversation at the NAO "International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue" on the topic "On the need to form an anti-corruption culture in the Center." Specific issues related to this topic were discussed.

Kazakh emphasized that in every crime there is a motive, in corruption schemes it is, as a rule, selfish interests. Our task is to build a systematic approach, foster legal literacy and spread the principles of integrity, thereby strengthening anti–corruption immunity. Anti-corruption activities involve not only relevant departments, but also other government agencies, including the Ministry of Culture. Ideology, the reduction of legal nihilism and the formation of public rejection of such crimes play an important role in the fight against corruption.

Corruption remains one of the most difficult problems of modern society. Its effects are felt everywhere: from the economy to public confidence in government institutions. The fight against this phenomenon is not a one-time action, but a systematic effort that requires efforts not only from the state, but also from society. And, in particular, from the staff of the International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue. It will be possible to create conditions under which corruption will become impossible only through the joint efforts of the state and society. Each of us can either encourage corruption with our tacit consent, or actively counteract it by creating conditions under which it becomes unacceptable.

President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tokayev K.K. has repeatedly stressed that ensuring law and order is a priority task of state policy. This means that the system must be transparent, and corruption crimes must be inevitably punished. This is the only way to create conditions in which people will begin to trust and respect the laws. In addition, declaring this year the Year of Working Professions, the Head of State draws attention to the need to restore justice in public perception. By raising the prestige of honest work, we lay the foundations for the formation of sustainable values, where respect and recognition depend on the real contribution of a person. When we accept such values, begin to live by the laws and respect the order, the issue of corruption will cease to be relevant.

The explanatory conversation was attended by employees of the Department of Economics, Finance and Administrative Work, the Department of Religious Studies, Human Resources Management, and an internal auditor (15 people in total).
