On April 18, 2025, a lecture on the topic "The Concept for the Development of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions for 2023-2033" was held at the College of JSC "Kazakh University of Technology and Business named after K. Kulzhanov" (Astana). The speaker was Zhansulu Mazan, Senior Expert of the Consolidated Analytical Department of the International Center for Interconfessional and Interreligious Dialogue.
During the lecture, the key provisions of the new Concept of the Congress, approved in 2022, as well as its role in promoting the ideas of peace, tolerance, and interreligious harmony, were considered. Special attention was paid to the growing importance of religious leaders in the context of modern global challenges.
The interactive format of the event fostered a lively discussion and highlighted the high interest of the audience in issues of interreligious cooperation. Participants noted the importance of the Congress's activities as a tool for strengthening Kazakhstan's international authority.
