On February 20, 2025, the International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue hosted a meeting of Acting Chairman of the Board Mr. Marat Kalizhanov with the Cultural Adviser of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Ali Akbar Talebi Matin. During the meeting, the parties noted the dynamic development of relations between Iran and Kazakhstan, discussed the potential and prospects of cooperation in the field of interreligious dialogue and the active participation of Iranian delegation in the upcoming Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in September this year. The parties expressed readiness to support mutual initiatives aimed at strengthening of intercultural and interreligious dialogue and its future development. As part of international cooperation, they emphasized the importance of conducting various offline and online events - round tables, seminars and lectures, which can be held both within and outside the Center.
