A working meeting of the Chairman of the Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center Bulat Sarsenbayev with the editor-in-chief of the newspaper «Komsomolskaya Pravda – Kazakhstan»

May 11 this year a regular working meeting Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue between Bulat Sarsenbayev and the editor-in-chief of the newspaper «Komsomolskaya Pravda – Kazakhstan» Viktor Kiyanitsa took place in Almaty.

During the meeting, Bulat Sarsenbayev, noting the long history and role a well-known socio-political publication in covering socially significant issues, emphasized the importance of the media in popularizing the ideas of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, as well as Kazakhstan's experience of interfaith development.

Bulat Sarsenbayev dwelt in detail on the main activities of the N. Nazarbayev Center, the planned events held within the framework of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan, as well as the preparatory work of the Center for the 19th Secretariat of the Congress this year and for the next VII Congress of Leaders and World Traditional Religions in 2022

Expressing interest in fruitful cooperation, as well as in participation in the events and projects of the N. Nazarbayev Center, Viktor Kiyanitsa shared the tasks and creative plans of the newspaper «Komsomolskaya Pravda – Kazakhstan».

Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to consider the possibility of implementing joint information and educational projects, including the publication of author's articles, expert interviews with the participants of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and the staff of the Center.

Thanking for the support in the framework of the information partnership, Bulat Sarsenbayev, Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center, invited Viktor Kiyanitsa to take part in the opening of the international photo exhibition «Islam and Humanity: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow», which will be held on May 17 this year at the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Recall that at present, the N. Nazarbayev Center, in order to establish partnerships and promote the ideas of the Congress, holds meetings with the country's leading higher educational institutions, research organizations, representatives of the largest mass media of Kazakhstan.
