The XII Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) took place in the Azerbaijani city of Gabala. The event was held under the key theme of "Regional Peace and Security," gathering the heads of member states – Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan – as well as representatives of observer states – Hungary and Turkmenistan – along with representatives from Northern Cyprus and the OTS Secretariat.
In the lead-up to the Summit, leading experts from the International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue, Tatiana Lipina and Dulat Zakiyanov, gave an interview to an Azerbaijani television channel. During the interview, they emphasized the importance of further strengthening Turkic unity, fostering humanitarian and intercultural cooperation, and jointly promoting the principles of interreligious harmony and sustainable peace in the region.
