The Museum of Peace and Reconciliation hosted an exhibition on the theme: “13 Metamorphoses”

On June 23, 2023, the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation together with the N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Inter-Civilization Dialogue together and the “Union of Artists of Astana” Public Association held an exhibition on the theme: “13 Metamorphoses”, with painting, graphic arts, abstract works and decorative arts.

The purpose of the exhibition is to show how the basic principles of art are applied in modern artistic practice.

The exhibition was presented by paintings of well-known artists: I.S. Achilov, U.A. Tleuliyev, R.A. Akhmetzhanov, A. Musalimov, Y.S. Nazarkul, D.M. Kasteyev, G.M. Makhanbetzhanov, B.S. Tolesh, K. Zhayirbek, S. Yskabek, K.D. Nursadykov, G. Omirzak, A.T. Ali.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Inter-Civilization Dialogue B.Sarsenbayev, Chairman of the Board of the Artists Union of Astana, Vice President of the Academy of Arts of Kazakhstan O.Ismailov, Member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dr. K.Akhmetzhan and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Kazakhstan His Excellency Andre Carstens, as well as other representatives of foreign diplomatic missions in Kazakhstan, religious associations, public and statesmen.

Chairman of the Board of the Center B.Sarsenbayev congratulated the artists on the opening of this event and wished them success in their professional activities: “Your creations demonstrate the full range of human experiences, reflect many facets of life and acquaint us with new worlds. You give your best emotions and thoughts that contribute to creating a harmonious and beautiful world”.

The exhibition “13 Metamorphoses” will last from June 23 to July 16 at the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation.
