Today, on February 18, the Chairman of the Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue, the Commissioner for the Promotion of the goals and objectives of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions Bulat Sarsenbayev met with the appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to the Republic of Kazakhstan Edwin Yabo Glusman.
During the meeting, Bulat Sarsenbayev congratulated Edwin Yabo Glusman on his appointment as Ambassador of Israel and wished him further productive work for the benefit of the two countries. Noting the importance of further strengthening cooperation with the Israeli side on the development of interfaith harmony, the Chairman of the Board explained in detail about the key activities of the Center in the development of interreligious and intercivilizational dialogue, preparatory work for the upcoming VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held on September 14-15 this year in Nur-Sultan.
It was emphasized that the issues of interreligious harmony and unity are in the constant focus of attention of the President of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev.
Mr. Edwin Yabo Glusman thanked Bulat Sarsenbayev for the warm welcome and noted that he ready to make the necessary efforts to strengthen Kazakh-Israeli relations in the interreligious sphere.
A tour of the Museum of Peace and Accord of N. Nazarbayev Center was organized for the Israeli Ambassador.
