Bulat Sarsenbayev held a bilateral meeting with the Adviser to the Secretary General of the Muslim World League Abdul Aziz ben Ahmad Sarhan

On October 8 of this year, Commissioner for promoting the goals and objectives of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, the Chairman of the Management Board of the Center N. Nazarbayev for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev met with Adviser to the Secretary General of the Muslim World League (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) Abdul Aziz ben Ahmad Sarhan.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the results of the XIX Secretariat of the Congress, discussed issues of preparation for the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, as well as prospects for further effective interaction in the interfaith sphere.

Bulat Sarsenbayev thanked Abdul Aziz ben Ahmad Sarhan for participation in the XIX meeting of the Secretariat of the Congress and support for Kazakhstani initiatives to preserve and ensure intercivilizational and interreligious dialogue. In particular, he stressed the importance of cooperation between the two organizations in promoting the ideas, goals and objectives of the Congress at the international level.

In turn, Abdul Aziz ben Ahmad Sarhan expressed gratitude for the personal meeting and the warm welcome of the Kazakh side. The role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev in the formation of the Kazakh model of interethnic and interfaith harmony, as well as the President of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev in promoting global intercivilizational and interreligious dialogue was noted.

Following the meeting, Abdul Aziz ben Ahmad Sarhan was given an excursion to the Museum of Peace and Accord of the N. Nazarbayev Center.
