Ladies and gentlemen, dear participants and guests of the Congress!

The VI Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions is coming to an end. I express my gratitude to the leaders and guests of all delegations, as well as to the high representatives of international organizations for their active participation and constructive contribution to the Congress.

Plenary and panel sessions of the Congress generated valuable initiatives aimed at strengthening a secure world and enhancing the role of spirituality and religious traditions.

I am convinced that the relations of this kind will continue to grow stronger. This is the ultimate goal of the Congress.

Active efforts and interaction of all religious denominations should not lose their momentum.

We need to thoroughly study and analyze the substantive opinions and proposals made during the Congress.

We have seen that there is a common understanding of the new image of the world.

Today, the true platform of the Congress is not only Astana, but the entire world community, since people of different religions around the world are following the meeting in the capital of Kazakhstan with hope.

Millions of people, who survived the conflicts and struggles, want peace, tranquility and stability. It is obvious that nations need peace-building. I hope that the religious leaders, prominent politicians and leaders of international organizations sitting in this hall will communicate the key message of the VI Congress to their states and people.

I hope that the main decisions of the Declaration will be actively promoted through the institutions of civil society at all levels.

I express my gratitude to the heads of delegations, all participants and guests of the VI Congress for their responsible contribution to the promotion of peace and creative approach and for their great efforts to the promotion of noble ideas and initiatives of the Congress.

Dear participants and guests of the Astana Inter-religious Summit! The draft Declaration of the Sixth Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, previously developed by the Secretariat of the Congress, was agreed with your representatives, members of the Secretariat and the Working Group. After that, the Outcome Document of our forum was approved by the Council of Religious Leaders.
