On April 21 this year, the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Inter-civilization Dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev and General Director of «Almaty» TV channel Nurzhan Mukhamedzhanova conducted an online meeting at the ZOOM platform.
Expressing sincere gratitude for the opportunity to meet, the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center Bulat Sarsenbayev informed about the intensified comprehensive work of the Center for the development of cooperation with representatives of the largest mass media of Kazakhstan on the implementation of joint projects and activities aimed at strengthening interfaith and intercivilizational dialogue.
Continuing the conversation, the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center B. Sarsenbayev acquainted General Director of «Almaty» TV channel N.Mukhamedzhanova with the priority areas of the organization's activities, plans for holding international events in honor of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence, and also focused on the importance of preparing for the XIX Secretariat of the Congress this year and VII Congress of Leaders and World Traditional Religions in 2022.
In addition, B. Sarsenbayev emphasized the contribution of the First President of Kazakhstan – Elbasy N. Nazarbayev to the creation of an effective strategy of peace and harmony between confessions, as well as the role of President of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev in promoting Kazakhstan in the international arena as a global center for dialogue between religions and civilizations.
For her part, General Director of «Almaty» TV channel Nurzhan Mukhamedzhanova expressed interest in further strengthening partnership contacts and stressed that the international events planned by N. Nazarbayev Center will become a vivid symbol of the dialogue of religions and civilizations around the world.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed on further interaction and promotion of interreligious dialogue through joint targeted actions in the media space, including the implementation of information and educational projects.
Recall that at present, N. Nazarbayev Center in order to establish partnerships and promote the ideas of the Congress, holds meetings with the country's leading higher educational institutions, research organizations, representatives of the country's largest media.
