On April 14, 2022 in the format of a video conference ZOOM was meeting between the Chairman of the N.Nazarbayev Center B.Sarsenbayev and the President of the US non-government organization "LAN Community" W. Kusack.
During the online meeting, the Chairman of the Center Bulat Sarsenbayev thanked Mr. W. Kusack for accepting the invitation and confirming participation at the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held on September 14-15, 2022.
The parties discussed key tasks, and also agreed to establish partnerships between the Centers in promoting the ideas of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in the United States within the framework of US platforms, such as the NGO "LAN Community" and the annual International Summit of Religious Freedom.
Mr.W. Kusack expressed gratitude to the Chairman of the Center Mr.Sarsenbayev for the opportunity to discuss important issues of cooperation, noting the consistent policy of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in ensuring interreligious harmony in the world.
The Head of the "LYN Community" also emphasized the uniqueness of the global interfaith platform – the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, and also expressed readiness to support Kazakhstan initiatives in promoting peaceful dialogue and harmony at the international level.
The parties agreed to hold another online meeting in the nearest future to expand further cooperation.
