Meeting of Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center B. Sarsenbayev with Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the National Council of the Slovak Republic M. Keri and Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Slovak Republic R. Vasilenko

On November 20 of this year, Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev met with Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Marian Keri and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Slovak Republic Roman Vasilenko.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss key aspects of developing cooperation in the interfaith and interreligious spheres.

During the meeting, Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center informed the guests about the active preparatory work for the upcoming VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held on September 14-15, 2022 in Nur-Sultan, and also about the ongoing international events of the Center dedicated to 30th anniversary of the Independence of Kazakhstan.

The Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the National Council of the Slovak Republic and Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Slovak Republic expressed gratitude to Bulat Sarsenbayev for the informative conversation, noting the outstanding role of Elbasy N. Nazarbayev in creating a unique dialogue platform – the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, as well as the consistent policy of the Head of State K. Tokayev in promoting Kazakhstan's position as a global center for the dialogue of religions and civilizations in the international arena.

At the end of the meeting, Bulat Sarsenbayev invited the guests to take part in the upcoming international round tables, implemented by the Center until the end of the year together with the diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan abroad.

A tour of the Museum of Peace and Accord of N. Nazarbayev Center was organized for the guests.
