A. Balayeva met with representatives of religious associations of Kazakhstan

On December 2 of this year, on the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Balayeva met with representatives of religious associations of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was held within the framework of the Meeting of Representatives of Religious Associations of Kazakhstan.

Congratulating on the upcoming national holiday, A. Balayeva emphasized that interfaith harmony and unity of Kazakhstanis have become the foundation of stability and success of transformations over the 30 years of Kazakhstan's independence. Religious associations of Kazakhstan play a key role in the spiritual and moral consolidation of society and its rallying around the main universal values. It was also noted that the Ministry pays special attention to the development of the sphere of interfaith harmony and freedom of religion in the country.

In turn, representatives of religious associations of Kazakhstan highlighted the importance of maintaining interfaith and intercivilizational dialogue, promoting the ideas of tolerance in the country and in the world within the unique platform of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.

In addition, the meeting participants thanked the Ministry for support in holding joint events to discuss issues in the inter-religious sphere and expressed interest in further constructive cooperation.

Following the meeting, Minister A. Balayeva presented letters of thanks to representatives of religious associations for their contribution to the preservation and strengthening of interfaith harmony in Kazakhstan.
